- PKNU-YES(Youth Exchange with Southeast Asia)
Purpose of the Program
- To cultivate PKNU graduates with the competencies required for employment and entrepreneurship in ASEAN countries.
- To recruit ASEAN graduate students for systematic training of experts on Korea.
Features of the Program
- Training regional experts through exchanges between Korea and partner countries.
- Operating integrated learning and experience-based programs, including:
- Local language learning programs

- Mentor-mentee programs based on student clubs

Program Overview
- We nurture talents in tourism, trade, and international development cooperation based on the languages and cultures of Korea and ASEAN. The AIMS Program at Pukyong National University aims to develop professionals equipped with the skills for employment and entrepreneurship in ASEAN countries while also fostering ASEAN graduate students to systematically train experts on Korea.
- Korean language acquisition programs (e.g., seasonal semester Korean language courses)
- Cultural exchange through the Buddy Program and club activities
- Exchange activities with the ASEAN Culture House and local immigrant communities in Busan
- Field practice in development cooperation and visits to local companies in Busan
