Program Overview

  • Outbound
    • Learning successful case of sustainable community based on regional tourism in ASEAN
    • Cultivating tourism experts in emerging regions by understanding local culture
    • Strengthen outbound students’ global and achievement competence for overseas employment and startups
  • Inbound
    • Understanding the hospitality industry in Korea and Gyeongju by providing convergence education for O2O, travel platforms, actual feeling cultural contents production, and non-face-to-face tourism services under pandemic through local living lab education based on Smart Tourism
    • Through cultural experiences and field training in Gyeongju (Korea's representative tourist city and Silla millennium historical and cultural city), will learn ICT-based smart tourism product planning capabilities using regional identity of historical, cultural and tourism resources.

  • Making practice of SNS tourism contents after field trip in Gyeongju UNESCO World Heritage Sites
  • Gyeongju National Museum tour and traditional jewelry making event
  • Participation in local events like ‘Silla Cultural Festival’
